"Very well. We have a plan and we have the means. And now is the time to bring this to an end. This time, there shall be no waiting, no chance that spies can lurk into the shadows and tell our secrets. The attack will take place now, on this very night."

I'd wish you luck, but i'm afraid i'm all out of that...

"If anything should go wrong, look to your superiors. If it becomes a futile battle, make haste away and hide in the shadows. But, do not disappoint me."

Janus glanced briefly toward Everette.

"Win back our New York."

"We will do our best not to disappoint, my Prince."

Turns to the others.

"We need everyone who is part of preparation to report back within the next three hours with their findings. Hopefully, that will give you all time to do your work. As for me, I am off to try to drum up more recruits. Now that there is a battle to be had for sure, I may be able to locate some more brute for our fight. If anyone else is able to do the same, that would be of great help. Let us meet back here at 2am. We will set out to attack then."

And with that Sasha turned towards her awaiting followers with a slight twinge in her heart as she thought of how many of her kind had fallen. They will pay for what they have taken from me tonight.

Izaak bowed deeply to Sasha. This may give me some time to prepare.

He brushed past everyone and left the room.

Ember slunk to a corner to await the signal to head for the tunnels. Drumming her clawed fingers on her leg lightly. Waiting was a necissity, but she itched for action. She frowned thinking of her assassin network. They would not be much use. A few of them were good at close quarters work, but she was sure that facing down a slavering wolf would unnerve them, not to mention reveal the masquerade.
